On May 27th, Dr. Mar Pérez Sanagustín from the Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III (France) participated in an interview on the “Horas de Vuelo” program at UAM Europa, presenting the PROF-XXI Project.
The interview was conducted via telephone and included Dr. Salomón González from the Office of Cooperation and Engagement in Europe and Dr. Rocío Abascal, a researcher from UAM in Europe. During the interview, the participants had the opportunity to share the scope of the PROF-XXI Project.
Dr. Sanagustín presented the primary goal of the project, which is focused on Building Capabilities for the Development of Teaching and Learning Centers (CEAs) in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Latin America. During the interview, Dr. Sanagustín outlined the general idea of the project, which is for established CEAs to develop the internal capabilities needed at various levels, including faculty, research, students, and management processes, to enhance the quality of their teaching and learning processes in alignment with what is now referred to as “21st-century competencies.”
Additionally, Dr. Sanagustín mentioned the two important and fundamental roles that UAM will play during the project’s development: both as a project member contributing strategies on educational management and teaching innovation, and as a significant partner for collaborative research.
