From 30th to 31st January 2020, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (uc3m), in Spain, received the visit of universities from: Colombia, Guatemala, France and Portugal, with the aim of holding the first plenary meeting of the PROF-XXI project, where the working methodology, communication tools and administrative issues were established.
The global objective of the PROF-XXI project is the Construction of Capacities for the Development of Teaching and Learning Centers (SLCs) for the Higher Education Institutions (HEI) of Latin America in the XXI Century, taking into account the current context of the Region, and the particular current context of the 4 Latin American HEI that will serve as models (2 public HEI and 2 private HEI in Guatemala and Colombia). This project has its origin in the concern of Latin American HEIs to improve the quality of their teaching-learning processes. The project has a duration of 36 months with a funding of 750,395 euros, by the European Commission.
The partner universities participating in the project are Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), Universidad Aberta de Portugal (Portugal), Universidad de Toulouse (France), Universidad Galileo, Universidad San Carlos (Guatemala), Universidad del Cauca and Universidad San Buenaventura (Colombia).
