Although significant progress has been made in incorporating technology into the teaching and learning processes over the last few decades, its adoption by educators has been a slower process. Even before the pandemic, many educators expressed the need for more and better training in the use of digital tools and educational platforms. However, with the impact of the pandemic on educational systems and the mass closure of schools, these demands became even more urgent. Higher education must reflect on the new educational ecosystem that lies ahead in the not-so-distant future and take action.
Universidad Galileo (Guatemala), a partner of the PROF-XXI project, will host a panel discussion titled «The Use of Technology to Innovate Teaching Practices: Main Post-Pandemic Challenges» on March 24th at 15:00 UTC.
The panel will feature prominent experts in higher education, both nationally and internationally, with extensive experience in the field.
