On June 8th, the first workshop of the PROF-XXI Workshop Series took place, aligning with the project’s overall goal of Capacity Building for the Development of Teaching and Learning Centers (CEAs). This workshop featured the participation of Dr. Mar Pérez Sanagustín from the Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III in France, a partner in the PROF-XXI project.
During this workshop, the PROF-XXI Competencies Framework was presented. This framework was developed by experts from the project who specialize in Teaching and Learning Centers, with the aim of guiding higher education institutions in designing and implementing Teaching and Learning Centers for the 21st century.
Throughout the workshop, practical activities and group discussions took place. Participants worked with the framework to position their practices and design a strategic plan to enhance their teaching and learning model.
The first workshop had over 111 participants from various countries, including Guatemala, Chile, Spain, and Colombia.
This marks the beginning of a series of workshops that the PROF-XXI Project plans to conduct with the aim of supporting teachers in content development, digital resources, and the optimization of competencies necessary for the development of Teaching and Learning Centers (CEAs).
