The «Technologies to Support Educational Methodologies» workshop took place on June 15 and 17. Both sessions were led by Dr. Carlos Delgado Kloos and Dr. Carlos Alario Hoyos from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (Spain), who are partners in the PROF-XXI project.
During the workshop, participants learned about a variety of tools that can be applied to the development of their courses, including:
- Tools for content creation and presentation.
- Learning management systems (LMS).
- Assessment and feedback tools.
- Communication and collaboration platforms.
- Tools for active learning and engagement.
- Video and multimedia creation tools.
- Virtual and augmented reality applications.
These tools were discussed and demonstrated to help educators understand how to integrate them into their teaching practices effectively.
These workshops aimed to align Bloom’s taxonomy, the European Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu), and many of the methodologies and technologies that support teaching. The goal was to help educators enhance the way they deliver their classes by integrating these frameworks and tools effectively.
During the workshops, participants engaged in group discussions as a practical exercise using the suggested tools. This served as a constructive learning activity, allowing them to apply the knowledge they had gained during the workshop.
This is the third workshop in a series planned by the PROF-XXI Project with the aim of supporting teachers in developing content, digital resources, and optimizing the necessary competencies for the construction of Teaching and Learning Centers (CEAs).
